"These are your weapons. When you take them, you begin your journey. Your journey to freedom. You will need five items for this journey. The first is a map, then fire, a knife and a key. The fifth thing is a mystery. It is the reason; it is the goal. It will be a deep sacrifice and a perfect victory. Only you can find it, and if you do, it will set you free."
Babydoll told Sweet Pea, Rocket, Blondie and Amber about her plan, and they signed on. She wrote the items on the back of a chalkboard in the dressing room. The girls schemed to steal the items while Babydoll distracted people with her enchanting dance. The girls were able to obtain the map, fire and the knife, but their plans went awry when Rocket was killed by the Cook and Blue uncovered their conspiracy (even if he didn't understand it). They never got a chance to go after the key, but Babydoll did eventually take it from Blue after stabbing him with the knife.
The items came in handy when Babydoll and Sweet Pea made their move. They used the lighter to create a Molotov cocktail out of a bottle of Paradise Rum to start a fire in the janitor closet that served as both a distraction and to trigger the automatic opening of all the doors. The girls used the map to find their way to the main entrance, and when the alarms opened the doors, they sneaked outside -- only to be confronted with a parking lot full of bodyguards and chauffers.
At that point, Babydoll realized that she herself was the fifth item; that the "deep sacrifice" meant she should literally sacrifice herself for Sweet Pea. "It's me," she said. "Oh, it's me. Of course it's me. It's the only way this story could have ended. I'm saying you Sweet Pea go home, home to your family... You have to live for all of us now. You going home and living -- that's how we win. It's okay. It's okay. It's better this way. This is right. This was never my story; it's yours. Now don't screw it up, okay?"
With that, Babydoll distracted the men as Sweet Pea slipped out the front gate and escaped, representing victory for all the girls.
