Robots are the sentient race of a distant planet. While mechanical, they think and feel as lifeforms do.

History[]

The robots of a distant planet lived in a culture highly segregated by class; the proletariat living in slums while the rich resided in the highly advanced City. A small faction of the working class loaded an enormous bomb onto a train bound for the City on the other side of the floating tracks. Because of the violent means used to suppress the poor robots, one robot left someone that was presumably his wife to join the attack, helped load the bomb onto the train, and took it over. As Babydoll, Rocket, and Sweet Pea attacked the train, this robot viewed a hologram of the wife he left behind, and got ready to fight the girls off. When Rocket burst through the door, he was the first to fall to her bullet.[1] The proletariat faction was defeated, but their mission was a success. The bomb blew away the city, and Rocket with it.[2]

Trivia[]

  • The robots are seen in the second trailer, in which Babydoll shoots one in the head.
  • Their sentience isn't shown in Sucker Punch, allowing viewers to believe they are mindless machines. However, Distant Planet delves deeper into their mechanical lives.
