The Brattleboro police play small but significant roles in the beginning and at the end of Sucker Punch. The local police are not to be confused with the Vermont State Police, who appear elsewhere in the movie.
History[]
Babydoll's house[]
After Babydoll's retaliation against him, her stepfather first called the police claiming she had killed her sister then attacked him unprovoked. He went with them to the cemetery where her mom was buried earlier that day to find her at the grave. She was sedated and driven to Lennox House.[1]
Lennox House[]
The police ware dispatched to the hospital after Dr. Vera Gorski discovered that her signature was forged on the authorization form for Babydoll's lobotomy. They arrested Blue Jones and his two conspirators, CJ and Danforth. While Blue tried to save his own skin by blabbering about Babydoll's stepfather's crimes to them, CJ and Danforth turned themselves over without a fuss. Before they left, the lead officer asked Babydoll if she was okay, but she was unable to answer due to the aftereffects of the lobotomy.[1]
